Madame Tussauds Museum is founded by Marie Tussauds by starting her exhibition on tour to the British Isles in 1802. Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is opened to public in 2000 and it is located at the Peak Tower on Hong Kong Island. Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is the first Madame Tussauds Museum in Asia country, where following by Madame Tussauds Shanghai and Madame Tussauds Bangkok. This Hong Kong branch have nearly 100 wax figures of internationally known personalities and together with Asian figures taking up more than a third of the total, which sixteen were Hong Kongers. Those wax figures are featured in a range of themed settings such as Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.
